When you do not have power with two young children it is easy to see how wondrous our modern technology truly is. Hot showers, refrigerators, ovens that work and heat are come to be seen as such luxuries. This week has been a reminder of how blessed we are to have these things we so easily take for granted. Tuesday early evening, our power came back on. WOOHOO! Thank you God!

So thankful that my parents, memere and pepere to our little girls, have a wood stove. It has given us a warm place to relax, despite being out of power from Saturday through Tuesday night.

It is wondrous how many people have offered their help. From neighbors bringing by coffee the morning after the storm to family and friends offering hot showers and any help that is needed, we are truly blessed to have such loving and caring people in our lives. Thank you everyone for all your love and support.
